Robert Mills Architectural Antiques (Antique Furniture & Decorative Antiques) has always been known for its unusual antique furniture and is one of the first ports of call for enthusiasts and designers looking for gothic furniture. Apart from our antique Victorian gothic furniture, we have an extensive choice of vintage, retro and interesting second hand furniture from Victorian and Edwardian, Arts and Crafts, Art Deco to 1940s modernist and 1950s chic.
We have a very high turn over of interesting second hand salvaged retro and vintage tables and chairs suitable for the bar and café or your own post modern kitchen. Typical retro finds we come across include Cox chairs and Eames style loungers or 1960s Melamine tables and industrial stools and chairs.
If we cannot find a suitable item for re-use, we are experienced at reclaiming old materials from items that no longer have a use and turning them into new and robust and cherished pieces of furniture. Our current and ever changing catalogue typically includes quirky salvaged or second hand vintage chairs and pub and café tables made from reclaimed oak and pine boards or teak lab tops and we can make a bespoke kitchen table to your specific requirements.
As we have been trading for 25 years, we have built up very good network of furniture suppliers so if you cannot find what you are looking for do let us know, as we may be able to find it for you. Most of our furniture we sell in the condition in which we find it. Unless there are necessary repairs needed for the structural integrity, we will often leave the furniture in its original condition to give the customer the choice of whether and by how much they would like it restored. We have on site and externally network of highly skilled restorers. 
In this section you will find gothic tables and chairs and Victorian furniture other than gothic. As well as antique furniture we often have a range of church chairs and chapel chairs. (Single antique church pews and sets of church pews can be found under section Q, along with gothic choir stalls and choir pews and monks stalls.) Seating includes pairs of carver chairs, Glastonbury chairs, thrones, Bishops’ chairs, clergy seats and chairs, Arts & Crafts dining chairs, An Art Deco dining suites, x frame chairs, campaign chairs and more. We usually have an interesting choice of antique tables, particularly gothic and often from vicarages and clergy houses. We can often find tables for you from well known makers and designers from Godwin to Pugin – if you’re looking for something special let us know. As well as antique tables we are able to provide newly made bespoke tables from reclaimed oak and reclaimed pine.
